At Duluth Running Co. we look for partners that share our values, and we think the folx at these organizations are doing great work. Without some of them this event would not be possible, and without the others we would not be able to provide the expirience that you deserve.
The SHTA makes the Superior Hiking Trail a place for all to enjoy. In order to do that, their dedicated team manages over 300 miles of trail and the campsites and latrines that come with it. Some of thier core activities as the caretakers of the SHT are:
- Leading contractors and coordinating volunteers to build, maintain, and renew the Superior Hiking Trail.
- Creating guidebooks and maps for trail users.
- Providing trail information to trail users through our store, publications, website, and social media channels.
- Performing the project management, permitting, financial management, and administrative work that makes the Trail happen.
Summit North supports the Superior Hiking Trail Association. All donations through this event go directly to the SHTA.

The efforts of the Duluth Foot Trail Alliance helps us grow the trail running comminity and advocate for the spaces that we run and recreate in.
TerraCycle give us the opportunity and resources to recycle any endurance nutrition packaging we provide or our runners use on course.
Through their Performance Nutrition Recycling Program we can keep all the gel, bar, chew, and drink mix packaging out of the landfills.
